Long-Distance Vibrator FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What is a long-distance vibrator?

A vibrator that a partner can control from another location. It connects to your phone by Bluetooth, and an app such as Lovense Remote passes your partner's controls over the internet.

Does my partner need a toy?

No. A partner can control your toy with only the free Lovense Remote app, an account and an internet connection.

Is there a distance limit?

Not between you and your partner. The only range limit is the Bluetooth link between the toy and the phone it is paired with.

Do we both need a Lovense account?

Yes. Lovense requires each partner to have their own account and to add each other as friends to use long-distance control.

Which Lovense toys are waterproof?

Lush 4, Lush 3, Lush Mini, Ferri, Hush 2, Edge 2, Gush 2 Motion, Osci 3 and Vulse are IPX7 waterproof. Nora, Max 2 and Domi 2 are IPX6 (splash-proof), and Solace Pro is IPX4. Lovense warns that Bluetooth may be unstable under water.

How do I clean a Lovense toy?

Lovense recommends warm water and soap for most toys, and drying them fully before storage. Strokers like Max 2 have sleeves you remove to clean.

What lubricant should I use?

A water-based lubricant. Silicone-based lubricants can damage silicone toys.

Can I use the app on a computer?

Yes. Lovense Remote is available for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac.

Is Lush 4 better than Lush 3?

Yes, for $10 more: up to 350 minutes of battery against 220, a 45–50 minute charge against 80–85, and more Bluetooth range.
